Application Process

The George W. Mergens Foundation uses a web-based grant application hosted by Blackbaud, Inc. Before entering the portal, be sure that you have reviewed our eligibility criteria and are familiar with our focus areas.

To submit an inquiry or application through the portal, please use the following links. First time applicants should submit a Letter of Inquiry prior to applying for a grant. Previous grantees can submit an application.

To access the portal, a Blackbaud GrantsConnect Account will need to be created if you do not already have one.

Once you have gained access to the portal, you will be able to update your contact information, review your organization's request history, and apply for a grant.
