Q: Do you accept unsolicited proposals?

A: Yes. Please complete our eligibility quiz first to determine if your organization meets our criteria to be considered for a grant.

Q: Is there a timeline for submitting proposals?

A: No. We accept proposals on a rolling basis.

Q: How does my organization apply for a grant?

A: Please visit our page on  applying for a grant for instructions.

Q: What types of grants are awarded?

A: We award grants for general operating expenses, project expenses, and capital projects. 

Q: How soon after submitting a proposal can we expect a decision regarding our request?

A: Our board meets monthly to review requests. Generally, a request will be issued an award/denial within 6-8 weeks of submission depending on the nature and scope of the project. If your request is time sensitive, please let us know in your proposal.

Q: Do you conduct site visits?

A: Depending on the size and nature of the request, we may ask to conduct a site visit, especially if this is your organization's first time applying for a grant from the foundation. If this is the case, we will contact your organization to set up a convenient time. 

Q: Do you issue more than one grant to an organization per year?

A: Typically, we will only accept one grant request from an organization in a calendar year.

Q: Can our organization apply for a grant in consecutive years?

A: Yes, your organization is welcome to apply for a grant every year, however we do not make multi-year commitments.
